It has been an interesting April!
Usually we see in April a little bit of a pause coming off of March, which tends to be very active, and that was certainly the case this April.
Obviously the impact of tariffs and uncertainty on the equities markets, and the 10-year Treasury really put everybody on pause.
The proverbial foot has now just started to come off of the brake pedal and started to go back onto the gas, so we've seen an increase in activity literally in the last week.
It's been expected and we were heading actually to break some trends in terms of market activity, and of course we hit a stumbling block.
Now, however, the market has started to become much more active and we are negotiating deals and getting contracts out, so we are cautiously optimistic that this will continue into May.
