We wanted to bring you a quick, post-mayoral-election update for both the Manhattan and Brooklyn markets.
We have fielded very few calls about the market in relation to what was a hotly contested mayoral race. However, we felt you may want to see what the data shows about the strength of the NYC market.
Leading into, during, and in the weeks after the mayoral election, there was a significant increase in buy-side activity and contract signings, and we continue to see interest on the buy-side through all price points.
In summary, we’d say—don’t bet against New York!
